World Homeless Day was established to draw attention to people experiencing homelessness, and the opportunities for community involvement to help. Rentals America is marking this important day once again with a donation to Tempe Community Action Agency (TCAA) and their I-HELP Shelter program. The donation supports the program by sponsoring an individual as they journey from homelessness to independence.
The I-HELP program was established in 2006 and has helped thousands of men and women to overcome homelessness and experience greater self-reliance. TCAA reports that the I-HELP has provided safe shelter to 7,458 men and women and placed 888 into permanent housing.
